Help! Honey to naturally brighten your eye color or other natural methods?

I've seen on yahoo answers twice that people said that this works. However common sense tells me this is just a bad idea, so I am wondering if the people who answered the question and said %26quot;yes%26quot; it works were just hellions trying to get people to put honey in their eyes. Therefore I wanted to ask anyone who actually does this or has tried this to give me details?

What kind of honey did you use i.e. brand, organic, grade? How did you apply it to your eyes? Did you mix it up with water to dilute it? I also heard that licorice and natural skin lighteners will work, but once again common sense jumps on my case about that too.

Please, I obviously don't need anyone to tell me that they think its a bad idea or they think it will or won't work, or that I should just get contacts, or that you can't change your eye color, or it will only change with health conditions, so it will only help if you have successfully brightened or attempted to brighten your eyes with any natural method :)

You can contact me thanks a lot!!Help! Honey to naturally brighten your eye color or other natural methods?Don't do this. Don't put anything in your eyes that wasn't made specifically to go into your eyes.

Nothing you've mentioned here as any proven medical benefits, or cosmetic ones. I seriously hope that you weren't thinking about putting honey in your eyes. People here recommend all kinds of crazy things, like treating cancer with turmeric instead of chemo or drinking your own pee. Do some research on your own and don't just trust a few random anecdotes from anywhere.

I'm sorry..I wasn't going to answer this b/c you didn't want to hear 'not to do it' which I understand...but I just had to weigh in...the other poster is right.I don't know who would have said this..or WHERE they heard it/got the idea...but it's just NOT possible.

And putting ANYTHING in your eyes,can/will be dangerous(besides what's made for eyes ofcourse):-(
if you choose vanity over blindness, it's up to you to proceed. Common sense is your best friend.
I don't know if they meant that you should put it in your eyes or take it orally, but in the first case, it is quite dangerous and all it will do is irritate your eyes and make them red. So yeah, the color will change but... er... yeah.

In the second, I must tell you that NO, it won't do that. If the people who tried that noticed such an effect, it's a placebo effect. There's no logical reasonment that leads honey to brighter eyes, according to the chemical composition of honey. Only very toxic metals can make your eye color clearer and I reeeally don't recommand it.
